Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 70 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 GMC Safari SLE AWD with just 150k original miles. As you can see, this is a good looking van. It is finished in Blue and Gray two tone over Gray interior. The finish has a deep shine and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Safari, the only thing worth specifically mentioning is a spot of rust over the RR fender, which you should be able to see in the photos. Otherwise, this is a good looking van. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gates all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. Tire tread is on the thin side of average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this van looks. I would rate the interior of this Safari to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards show a little wear but are acceptable for their age. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The cloth seats are also clean and show minimal wear. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This Safari also has auxiliary rear heating and air conditioning. There is plenty of room for passengers in all rows. Thanks to this being an extended wheelbase version, there is also plenty of room for stuff behind the 3rd row of seats. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Safari appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L Vortec V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older van. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The big V6 feels strong and smooth. The brake and ABS lights come on sometimes, which is most likely a wheel speed sensor or an issue in the ABS module. It does not impact how the van drives down the road. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. The Chevy Astro and GMC Safari are basically the last good mini-van made. They are virtually indestructible and are known to run well into the 300k mile range with basic maintenance.
